Gugclesh

Description

A privileged demon named Gugclesh is allowed to scare people on Halloween night, but begins to doubt his own existence.

All artwork and text for this book was created from nature while hiking near Max Patch Mountain, along the Appalachian Trail, in the summer of 2022, about a week before the unfortunate suicide of another hiker in the area. A likeness of Gugclesh had been constructed from found objects near the author’s home, for use in the Gugclesh movie. The trees in the woods were partially chopped down, and this likeness remained in the same spot for years, not moved, or apparently seen, even by children attending a summer camp in the exact location where Gugclesh had been. Mysteriously, when the author returned from the mountains, Gugclesh was gone…
