idME Remote ID Remote E-Identification Module for UAS
idME (Remote Identification module) is designed to meet the requirements of remote drone identification and localization in ASTM/ASD-STAN standards.
BLE technology
Using the BLE broadcast technology, our device provides surveillance and drone operator identification capability based on any modern mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet.
Why Remote ID from Aerobits?
- idME can be easily connected to the Pixhawk controller via a JST connector. A position source (along with other parameters) is required for full operation and can be obtained directly from the MAVLink protocol.
- Its small outline and low power consumption allow it to be used in ultra-lightweight drones. AT commands make it feasible to configure broadcast messages, such as the drone identification number, type of aircraft, etc. Additional authentication mechanisms are also available.
